A Tradition

Last Saturday, May 27, was a memorable day for both our families. We finally had the pamamanhikan.

To be honest, I was really anxious the whole week. I kept on praying that everything would go well. My biggest worry was that if they would find some things to talk about... My mom and I started cleaning the house a week before the 27th and up until last saturday, we seem to keep finding more things to arrange. Dek and his family arrived at our house at around 6:30pm bringing with them lots of food :) We were so happy that the day went so smoothly!

So now that this is part of the preparations is over... we need to go back and book some more suppliers! :)

2 Years

Today marks our 2nd anniversay!

We're spending it by having a nice lunch, watching a movie we've both been waiting for, and saying a prayer at the church we're getting married into! =)
